- Oversee the operations of the CIBH Permanent Supportive Housing program, managing staff and services
- Provide direct supervision to Housing Case Manager and Housing Specialist(s), assign tasks, offer support and guidance, and ensure staff receive necessary training
- Maintain program data and records, provide status reports, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Monitor budget expenditures within grant-funding guidelines
- Process referrals and applications, assess housing needs, and coordinate services
- Assist in staff selection, training, evaluation, counseling, and performance reviews
- Liaise with community landlords, housing authorities, and advocacy agencies
- Provide services and support during staff vacancies, and offer emergency backup for tenants and landlords
- Perform other assigned duties

If you are dedicated to tackling homelessness in Chesapeake, this role is for you.Clinician III / Supportive Housing Coordinator responsibilities include:
Required Qualifications
VOCATIONAL/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT: Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field approved by the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES: Valid driver's license meeting City's Driving Standards, QMHP or QDDP certification, CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration certifications, CSAC certification, and other relevant certifications within specified timeframes.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Minimum three years of full-time equivalent related experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Be available for additional hours as needed for departmental requirements and emergencies. Preferred Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in a human services field, QMHP-A, CSAC, and 3-5 years of mental health experience.
