    Description

    This senior-level engineering position involves developing new thermoplastic materials and processes, focusing on sustainable packaging solutions and enhancing manufacturing efficiency.

    Responsibilities:

    • Expertise in Plastics: Specialized in plastic materials and additives.
    • Packaging Solutions: Addressing packaging challenges in manufacturing with innovative and cost-effective solutions.
    • Innovation: Supporting R&D product innovation and strategy with new ideas.
    • Project Management: Participating in portfolio review meetings and managing project integration with suppliers, internal teams, and customers.
    • Team Leadership: Motivating and engaging the R&D team, fostering a positive and safe work environment.
    • Safety Compliance: Ensuring adherence to safety policies and procedures.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Polymer Science, Plastics Engineering, or Chemistry (Master's preferred).
    • Experience: 5+ years in plastics, resins, coatings, and laminates with processing experience in extrusion, thermoforming, and injection molding. Experience in consumer food packaging is a plus.
    • Skills: Results-driven, proactive, strong problem-solving and technical skills, effective communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
