    Description
    *Trailways of New York is Hiring Bus Drivers*_*When getting there matters*_*, *our modern well-equipped motor coaches carry passengers throughout New York State, and into Montreal, Toronto and Detroit, Michigan.

    We have immediate employment opportunities for full -time Bus Drivers based out of the Syracuse, New York area.

    *The preferred candidate is an initiative-taker who manages their time safely and effectively with little supervision, and has:
    • One or more years of experience operating a commercial vehicle, preferably a motor coach or school bus.
    • A valid class B or A commercial driver's license.
    • An unrestricted Passenger endorsement (ability to transport 15 passengers or more) _Operators with a valid class A or B license without a Passenger endorsement may have an opportunity to obtain one as part of the 5-week training program._
    • A valid passport or enhanced driver's license for travel to Canada.
    • An acceptable driving record.
    • Open availability. You must be able to work a 5–6-day work week including nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and DOT physical exam.
    • Strong customer service and communication skills.
    • The love of driving and the willingness to travel.
    *Your benefits:
    • Generous $7500 Sign-on bonus ($500 of which is for your initial uniform allowance).
    • First year average earnings $50,000.00-$55,000.00.
    • 5-week training program paid at the rate of $20.00 an hour.
