    Description

    Job Title: Program Marketer, Transportation Electrification

    Duration: 6-month contract

    Location: Portland, OR Hybrid Local Candidates Only

    The Program Marketer, Transportation Electrification, will play a crucial role in promoting customer charging options and experiences. This position is part of a team of seven direct reports under the Senior Manager of Customer and Program Marketing. The role involves developing and managing marketing strategies for various EV-related programs and services, including the EV Cost and Savings Calculator, and coordinating presence at key industry events. The marketer will focus on driving EV adoption and enhancing customer experiences through innovative and cost-effective marketing initiatives.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Develop and manage marketing strategies for promoting EV charging options and customer experiences.
    • Lead initiatives to execute creative and cost-effective marketing and promotion plans.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to prepare impactful marketing collateral and communications.
    • Manage Client presence at trade shows, key industry events, and EV-related promotional activities.
    • Maintain advertising rotation in trade publications and identify new distribution channels.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on industry trends and developments.
    • Analyze complex data to align initiatives with strategic goals.
    • Design and implement customer service processes to ensure high-quality experiences.
    • Plan and organize customer-facing marketing events in collaboration with external organizations.
    • Manage project budgets, review product revenue and expenses, and track product performance.
    • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to meet promotion goals.
    • Prepare reports for management and stakeholders on marketing efforts and outcomes.
    • Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues and identify additional marketing opportunities.

    Position Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, economics, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
    • Typically 5+ years in marketing, sales, project, or program management in a customer-centric environment; energy industry experience preferred but not required.
    • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and contribute to a positive team culture.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take new perspectives using existing solutions.
    • B2C marketing experience is preferred.
    • Ability to act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
    • Thrives in a collaborative and positive team environment.
    • Marketing certification is a plus but not required.
