- Support the thermal analysis group.
- Simulate and evaluate performance of agile and passive thermal control systems for future NASA vehicles and habitats including the Orion spacecraft and vehicles capable of lunar or Mars missions.
- Correlate thermal models to test results.
- Develop thermal models of space hardware or test equipment using Thermal Desktop analysis code and first principal models with standard desktop software.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of programming in one or more of the following: FORTRAN, C, Visual Basic.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering from an accredited engineering school.
- Experience with developing thermal simulation models of spacecraft hardware and systems at varying levels of fidelity ranging from detailed, first-principal models to more descriptive lumped-parameter models.

As an integral part of our organization, you'll play a crucial role in the Thermal and Life Support System Analysis section in the Engineering Department on the NASA JSC Engineering, Technology and Science II (JETS II) Contract.
