- Support the thermal analysis group.
- Simulate and evaluate performance of agile and passive thermal control systems for future NASA vehicles and habitats including the Orion spacecraft and vehicles capable of lunar or Mars missions.
- Correlate thermal models to test results.
- Develop thermal models of space hardware or test equipment using Thermal Desktop analysis code and first principal models with standard desktop software.
- Perform other tasks assigned.

- Requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering with experience in the field or in a related area. -
- Knowledge of programming in one or more of the following: FORTRAN, C, Visual Basic. -
- Excellent technical writing skills and the ability to use data to draw conclusions and support the conclusions when challenged. -
- Excellent presentation skills. -
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills in a team environment.
- BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited engineering school. -
- Experience with developing thermal simulation models of spacecraft hardware and systems at varying levels of fidelity ranging from detailed, first principal models to more descriptive lumped-parameter models.
