The Barmherzige Brüder Regensburg Hospital is an academic teaching hospital of the University of Regensburg.

With 985 beds and around 3,500 employees, it is the largest Catholic hospital in Germany and a maximum care provider for the city and region of Regensburg.

Our clinic is part of a modern interdisciplinary vascular center and has 46 beds and two operating rooms per day.

We have an angiohybrid operating room exclusively for vascular surgery. We perform all endovascular and open procedures of the thoracoabdominal and infrarenal aorta. Another main focus of our department is the interdisciplinary treatment of peripheral arterial disease and diabetic foot. In addition to phlebology, the treatment of chronic wounds is a central part of our work.

We offer full training authorization in vascular surgery and are currently in the process of reapplying for training authorization in phlebology.

We also offer certifications for endovascular surgeons and specialists. Our clinic is affiliated with an outpatient center for vascular surgery.
