    Emerald Nursing & Rehabilitation Center -

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will collaborate with licensed Physical Therapists to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist.

    2. Work closely with patients to guide them through therapeutic exercises and activities.

    3. Monitor and record patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.

    4. Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and home care routines.

    5. Support and motivate patients during rehabilitation sessions.

    6. Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.

    7. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized therapy environment.

    8. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements through continuous professional development.

    PTA – Qualifications:

    • MUST hold a current and valid PTA license in the state employed
    • Long term care/post-acute care setting preferred
    • Completion of postsecondary education
    • Capable of maintaining regular attendance (i.e., weekend shifts and overtime) as required
