Position Summary
Provide child development/early intervention services, planning, progress reporting, and play therapy to children between birth and thirty-six months of age in their homes.
This position is for therapists working in the Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly hills, Glendale, Burbank, & surrounding areas
Major Functions And Responsibilities
- Plan activities specifically for each client that encourage parent involvement as well as high child participation
- Monitor the progress of assigned clients by regular observation and client contacts, obtain and provide information regarding client's progress and activities on all developmental domains.
- Provide feedback on a regular basis for Initial Evaluations, Quarterly Reports, Individual Program Plan, and any other required reports.
- Drive from home to home to provide the services in the area assigned.
Qualifications

Education and experience requirements_
- Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Special Education, Early Childhood, Human Development, Psychology, Social Work or any related field and at least 1 year of experience working with infants/children. Experience working with children with disabilities is preferred, but not required.
- Associate's degree in Child Development, Special Education, Early Childhood, Human Development, Psychology, Social Work or any related field and at least 2 years of experience working with infants/children. Experience working with children with disabilities is preferred, but not required.
- 24 semester credits in Child Development, Special Education, Early Childhood, Human Development, Psychology, Social Work, or any related field and at least 3 years of experience working with infants/children. Experience working with children with disabilities is preferred, but not required.
Other requirements_
- Ability to drive, access to a registered car, a valid driver's license, and valid auto insurance.
- Ability to adapt to different family environments as the job requires to make sessions at the family's home.
- Understand basic concepts of child development to create activities to enhance or promote a child's skills and to empower the parent's knowledge.
- Good communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID1
- US work authorization is a must.
- Experience driving hometohome and dealing with different family environments is preferred, but not required.

Compensation
The pay rate ranges from $22-25 (Bachelors) and $ Masters), and depends on the education and experience, which will be reviewed during the interview.
