    Description

    Role Overview:

    Korn Ferry has partnered with an industry leading homebuilder in their search for an HR Director located in Nashville, TN. The HR Director will serve as a true Business Partner to provide the highest level of objective coaching, support, and insights to the field leadership team. The HR Director will serve as a liaison between the field and corporate HR and be responsible for providing insights on improving HR and business systems, processes, and policies to enhance the overall performance, communication, and efficiency of the company.

    Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • Serve as subject matter expert on all HR functions including but not limited to talent development, employee relations, learning &development, etc.
    • Oversees the performance management process through partnerships with field management and leadership to develop succession planning and talent management initiatives
    • Provide support to a variety of HR initiatives, leadership development, and organizational development needs across the entire operation
    • Understands field population and works closely with all functions to drive organizational capability; knows the strengths and weakness of the team; assesses talent and recommends effective development plans
    • Develops and implements training plans to support team member development including compliance, technical skills, and leadership skills
    • Serve as a resource to managers and employees to address performance issues and organizational and structural changes
    • Work with department leaders to establish and forecast staffing and workforce priorities
    • Drive the continuous improvement agenda with focus on engagement & welfare activities, maximizing productivity, evolving HR responsibilities, and building leadership capability
    • Additional duties as necessary

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field OR a professional HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, etc.) OR previous experience in an HR Operations role / function
    • Minimum 7 years experience of Human Resources Management required
    • Experience in construction, retail, hospitality or field required
