    Description
    Day Shift 7p-7a available Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday.

    Job Requirements:
    • High school graduate or GED preferred.
    • Current certification in Oklahoma as a Certified Nurse Aide and Certified Medication Aide.
    • Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
    • Current Food Handling Permit with Tulsa Health Department
    • Minimum of one (1) year work experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
    • Commitment to person-centered and resident-directed care is essential.
    • Completion of cross training for assisted living activities, housekeeping, and laundry.
    Responsibilities:

    Meets all resident and Assisted Living needs by actively assisting (to the extent of cross training and certification) in all tasks to meet identified needs.

    1. Accurately and safely prepares, administers, and documents the administration of all appropriate, physician-ordered medications and treatments under the leadership of a licensed nurse, in accordance with federal and state regulations.
    2. Responsible for attending to personal care needs of the residents of the Assisted Living, including but not limited to psychosocial and safety needs.
    3. Supports residents in self-care and provides care as necessary for those unable to meet their own needs.
    4. Follows universal precautions, proper infection control, sanitation, and safety standards of practice in all work and activities.
    5. Observes residents closely, identifying changing needs and conditions at first indication, and reports immediately to nursing or assisted living leadership as appropriate.
    6. Consistently works with MCAL team members, led by resident and family preference to meet the needs and desires of all MCAL residents.
    7. Seeks opportunities throughout the day to facilitate spontaneous activities of resident choice and accompanies residents in all activities of choice.
    8. Maintains clean spaces, including resident rooms and assisted living common spaces, as well as support spaces and equipment.
    9. Provides assistance to ensure residents' personal laundry is maintained in quality condition.
    10. Maintains compliance with TW's policies and procedures in accordance with governing laws, regulations, and regulatory agencies. Complies with all accreditation bodies, regulations, and facility standards daily.
    11. Other duties as assigned.
