To strengthen/support our team, we are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for our location in Bucksport, SC.

Main Responsibilities:

Ensuring efficient and timely troubleshooting of machinery and equipment
Managing and coordinating service calls
Performing machine maintenance according to manufacturer instructions
Ensuring functionality of production equipment through appropriate maintenance and repair work
Proactively and continuously improving maintenance processes and optimizing equipment performance by reducing technical downtime
Commissioning of new equipment and machinery
Leading the internal preventive maintenance process (TPM) with machine operators
Trained in building safety equipment (fire alarm, emergency alarm, CO2 system) function and handling
Training employees on new equipment and machinery

Qualifications:

Education as an electrician, electrical engineer, industrial mechanic, and/or locksmith
Professional experience in maintaining production equipment and machinery
Familiarity with machine tools such as lathes and milling machines
Diligent and independent work ethic with good comprehension skills
