- Conduct legal research and analysis related to healthcare transactions, specifically on mergers and acquisitions.
- Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to private equity funds and healthcare providers involved in transactional activities.
- Draft and review complex legal documents, including transactional agreements, contracts, and regulatory filings.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to ensure smooth and efficient execution of transactions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices relevant to healthcare mergers and acquisitions.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions transactions, preferably within a reputable law firm.
- Proven experience working with private equity funds and/or healthcare providers in a legal capacity.
- Additional experience or a strong interest in behavioral health transactions is considered a significant advantage.
- High level of academic achievement with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Washington, DC Bar or eligibility for prompt admission.
