    Mason Law & Planning Group is excited to announce a new opportunity for two Associate Attorneys to join our growing team. We are eager to add an experienced Attorney as well as an Attorney that is looking to kick-off their career. In this full-time role you will perform a wide variety of Attorney functions with a focus on Estate Planning, Business Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration. Our ideal candidate will possess solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and enjoy connecting with others.     As our Associate Attorney, you can look forward to working alongside our team in a collaborative and efficient manner following our firm's systems, processes, and deadlines. Your responsibilities will also include the following:

    • Meet with and/or communicate with clients to discern their wishes which include engaging new clients and reviewing current client plans
    • Draft appropriate documents including Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Health Care Directives
    • Advise clients on estate, gift, Generation-Skipping Trust (GST), and income tax matters; explaining the firm's approach to estate planning, engagements, and fees
    • Achieve annual revenue goals that are established in line with your length of service, overall experience, and role
    • Participate in marketing activities, including public speaking engagements, educational events and seminars, writing articles and blogs, and other activities as necessary
    • Attend CLE as necessary to maintain competence and credentialing
    • Provide support to our team with like tasks and others as required

    To be a successful Associate Attorney with Mason Law and Planning, you will need:

    • Juris Doctor (JD) Degree
    • Current bar license to practice law in the state of Colorado and in good standing with the Colorado State bar strongly preferred
    • In process of obtaining Bar license or reciprocity to practice law in the state of Colorado (required if not currently licensed in Colorado)
    • One year of estate planning experience strongly preferred
    • Proven ability to lead in-person client meetings, engage new clients, advise current clients, and draft estate and business planning documents preferred
    • Highly skilled in effective and clear communication presented in a professional business manner
    • Ability to be a great team player and coworker
    • Attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks
    • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to exceptional customer service
    • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and active listening skills
    • Ability to anticipate needs, exercise sound judgement skills and solve problems
    • Ability to travel up to 10%
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
