About this Role:

***The role of the PHM Contracts Unit Chief is to lead and supervise a team of analysts on developing, executing, monitoring, and amending contracts relative to QPHMs Population Health Management program and CalAIM initiatives. The Unit Chief will ensure invoices received from contractors is reviewed, audited, approved, and entered into Fi$Cal in a timely manner in accordance with State guidelines. The Unit Chief will take responsibility for the team, and act as a primary point of contact and liaison between QPHM and contractors, vendors, other DHCS divisions including procurement, budgets, and QPHM senior leadership. The Unit Chief will stand in for the PHM Policy Section Chief during times of absence and work with other DHCS teams as necessary.

Desirable Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to participate in and or conduct inperson and virtual meetings.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Fi$Cal.
  • Experience as a Team Lead, Supervisor, Manager, or Coach.
  • Previous experience with State contracts, budgets, invoices, and working with contractors.
