    Are you living your life's work?Summary:
    Facilitates and monitors the registration and flow of patients throughout the registration process. Provides assistance to staff to ensure compliance with hospital and departmental policy and procedures. Assists the Supervisor, Patient Access with training, staffing, quality assurance process and other duties as assigned. Acts as the lead initial departmental contact for staff, patients and visitors for the health system.


    Responsibilities:
    Performs and is responsible for the day to day operations of the registration processes within the department in the Supervisor's absenceReports process, staffing issues and trends to the Supervisor when applicableAssist in staff scheduling, training and the quality assurance process on a regular basisActs as a liaison between staff and Supervisor and other hospital departments to ensure all processes result in a seamless transition/experience for patientsEnsures departmental staff are following proper registration protocols which include regulatory complianceAssist the department in achieving and maintaining the Hospital's Candidate for Billing (CFB) daily goalLeads by examples; exemplifies customer service at all timesPerforms all duties of a Patient Service Representative as defined in the PSR job descriptionCredentials:Education or

    Equivalent Experience:
    H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)

    And 3+ years Hospital or Practice Revenue Cycle Setting Education Specialization:
