    Position Summary


    Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Mobile Diesel Technician in Fontana CA The Mobile Diesel Technician is responsible for the timely repair and maintenance of medium to heavy-duty fleet vehicles to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

    Diagnostic Skills, Repairs, PM's on Heavy-Duty. Fleet vehicle parked at our Shop in Fontana or our client in Perris pending our new hires' desirable commute.

    Compensation:
    Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday

    M-F 8AM to 430PM flexible OT

    $ $38.00 HR

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    What the Mobile Diesel Technician role looks like:

    • Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer
    • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to light and medium duty vehicles
    • Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation required
    • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
    • Inspect and perform work on the under parts of vehicles
    • Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
    • Move parts to and from the job site and remove or install these parts on vehicles
    • Maintain general upkeep and maintenance of Mobile Service Truck
    • Respond to off-site client requests as needed
    • Interact with clients through both email and phone as necessary
    • Perform other duties as required
    Key Competencies and Minimum Education

    What our ideal candidate looks like:

    • At least 5 years' experience performing vehicle maintenance or must possess auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school
    • Must have valid Driver's License
    • Proficient computer skills: knowledge of Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email
    • Ability to work without direct supervision
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
    • Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properly
    • Must provide own hand tools & toolbox.
