I have been working with computers for the past 26 years. I keep up to date with new technology and work to implement them into my environment. I tend to keep an open mind to new technology and ideas. My background is in computer repair and networking. My current position has also enabled me to work in a school environment where I have experience in technical support, repair, networking, and lab maintenance. Multitasking comes very natural to me since I have a varieties of interest and knowledge in the field.

EXPERIENCE

2009-Current Santa Ana Unified School District (Segerstrom High School)

Normal site duties included troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading computer systems. Maintaining the schools technical equipment including staff desktops and laptops, Hp and Sharp printers, 2 computer labs, 5 Apple mobile labs. Other duties include monitoring computer labs remotely to assist and enforce district acceptable use policy. Manage Jamf policies and assisting with teacher MacBook Pros. Installing Faronics Enterprise software for lab management. Assists with technology needs during testing. Provide assistance for student chrome book needs. Serves as a Google Administrator for the school site. Serves as a Technical rep for the school to District and other 3rd party companies. Serves as a member of the schools Technology Committee.

2008- 2009 Santa Ana Unified School District (Mendez Intermediate School) Computer Technician

Troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading computer systems. Troubleshooting networking equipment including cabling. Provide technical support for staff and students on both hardware and software. Maintenance of school's software servers and computers labs including Apple Mobile carts. Monitor students use of school's technology and enforce the District Acceptable Use Policy. Working closely with Technical Coordinator to properly address the schools technical needs. Active member of School's Technology Committee and serves as Mendez’s technical representative. Transferred back to Segerstrom due to position being brought back.

2005-Current Santa Ana Unified School District (Segerstrom High School) Computer Technician

Segerstrom was opened as a new high school in the summer of 2005. Personally set up every computer on site and set up the labs including the cabling. Normal site duties included troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading computer systems. Maintaining the schools technical equipment including staff desktops and laptops, Hp and Xerox printers, 6 computer labs, 2 mobile labs. Other duties include monitoring computer labs remotely to assist and enforce district acceptable use policy. Managing the students account server using Active Directory. Program Xerox machines and monitor user’s accounts. Acted as a Technical rep for the school to District and other 3rd party companies. Served as a member of the schools Technology Committee. Due to budget cuts in July 2008 I was transferred to Mendez Fundamental Intermediate School.

2008-2021 Apple Store Fashion Island Family Room Specialist

Duties include troubleshooting and servicing customer mobile devices. Provide personal training sessions for customers on Apple hardware and software. Conduct workshops for customers new to the Mac platform. Perform data transfers for customers purchasing new Macs. Works closely with the Genius team on managing customer appointment times. Assisted back of house team with operations.

Duties include assisting customers with computer hardware and software. Provide training for customers and store personnel on computer hardware and other electronic products. 2001-2002 Fountain Valley High School, Ca Junior Technician

From January of 2001 thru September 2002 I worked at my high school as part of the Technical team. I built computer systems and repaired them. Other technical duties involved switching RAM, fixing components, diagnosing problems in the units and networking capabilities. We also installed software Windows 98, 2000, and XP. I worked in both PC and Mac labs. Fountain Valley High became a Digital High School and I assisted with the set up of the new Dell and Apple computers on the school network. As part of the Tech Team our task was to implement the new changes in the schools computers and train the staff on how to use the new hardware. Monitored the proper use of the Internet.
