- May assist with strategies, plans, schedules, risk analysis and vulnerability processes.
- Participate in technical baseline efforts to aide in the review and development of specifications and interfaces
- May participate in capability planning, trade studies, engineering change proposal (ECP) analysis, integration, modeling, verification, core standards analysis, information assurance, reliability assessments, and technical baseline reviews
- May review Integrated Master Test Plan and Integrated Master Assessment Plan to understand planned capabilities, test events, and assessment activities.
- Prepare presentations for senior leadership to communicate capabilities and limitations of the element relative to system performance
- Participate in and oversee engineering product development
- Engage in follow-on actions such as documentation reviews, informational updates, and technical assessments
- Support additional activities as directed
- Experience and knowledge of Department of Defense programs and organizations strongly desired.
- Ability to perform as a member of a team to solve complex problems.
- Must have an active and transferrable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance
- Level 1: Requires a Bachelor's degree in the applicable discipline.
- Level 2: Requires up to 3 years of experience and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the applicable discipline.
- Level 3: Requires 3 to 10 years of experience and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the applicable discipline.
- Level 4: Requires over 10 years of experience and a Master's degree in the applicable discipline.
- 6 years' work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree
- 12 years' work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree
- 20 years' work experience may be substituted for a Doctorate's Degree
- Associate's Degree plus 4 years work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree
- Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree
- Bachelor's Degree plus 16 years' work experience may be subsitiuted for a Doctorate's Degree
