    Quality Coordinator - New York, United States - Catena Solutions

    Description


    The Quality Coordinator will ensure quality monitoring programs and processes are completed to drive quality compliance to company and retailer standards.

    Responsibilities:
    Monitor all quality control points to assure quality is maintained within specification.
    Report out-of-specification parameters to appropriate departments and follow appropriate quality procedures.
    Conduct and complete traceability exercises/mock recalls to document facilities ability to respond to product withdrawals and regulatory recalls.
    Investigate consumer complaints.
    Review retailer requirements and prepare additional SOP's and forms to complete required retailer reporting.
    Lead retailer customer auditors in the area of quality.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelors' degree.
    1+ years food safety/quality experience within a manufacturing setting.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Collaborative, with ability to build strong cross functional relationships.
    Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
