Description

The
GC Quality Coordinator follows basic quality techniques, including: containments, inspections, audits, and calibration to track, analyze, and report on materials, processes, and products to ensure quality standards.

• Examine processes and product for conformance to specifications.
• Use problem solving approach and methodology.
• Initiate and update Quality Alerts.
• Identify 'inspect/no inspect' status of received material.
• Assist with nonconforming product sorts.
• Perform onsite inspections at customers and suppliers.
• Initiate nonconforming material reports.
• Communicate final disposition on product and material.
• Maintain and inspect test equipment.
• Initiate, support and maintain FIFO status as needed.
• Support the assembly department and disposition of rejected material.
• 5S duties.

• Excellent computer literacy on Microsoft Office platform including Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, customers and associates.
• Experience with basic inspection equipment including calipers, gauge pins, etc.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensional Tolerance.
• Ability to read blue prints.
• Ability to problem solve, work independently.
• Accurately distinguish difference in colors per standards.
• Valid driver's license.
• Hilo operator license preferred.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 standards.
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent and 1 2 years of Quality related work experience.
