RWJBH is seeking a Financial Analyst for the RWJUH Somerset campus.

This is a full-time, day position, 40 hours per week.

Job Summary

The Financial Analyst is responsible for: assisting in the review and preparation of monthly financials, variances and reports, monthly expense and budget variance reviews with varying levels of management, analyzing root causes of variances with directors, working with accounts payable and accounting to ensure accuracy of transactions, preparing monthly and quarterly statistical report used in financial statements, ensuring accuracy of statistics reported on internal and external reports, assisting in preparation of financial presentations to leadership and board of directors, assisting in the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets, provides both routine analysis and ad-hoc reporting as needed, and analysis of accounting data using support systems.

Additionally, the Financial Analyst must construct clear and concise, bullet-pointed summaries to accompany analytical reports.

Job Qualifications

A Bachelor s Degree in Accounting is required.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a financial analyst or accounting role.
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, mainly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
