, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers the future of healthcare communication.
We're seeking a hands-on platform engineer who has built multiple large-scale, distributed services and has a passion for solving challenging problems.
This is a hybrid position based in our Mexico City technology hub, and you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with our engineering teams across the globe.
What You'll Be Doing:Delivering ongoing feature and performance improvements for the leading healthcare communication infrastructure
Developing and maintaining highly scalable and resilient microservices using Erlang
or Elixir
Working closely with the client and product teams to refine requirements for technical implementation
Delivering innovative technology solutions that enable new product features and ongoing performance improvements
Troubleshooting and resolving production issues, and ensuring that the platform meets the highest levels of security and compliance
Implementing automated testing, deployment, and monitoring processes to ensure high-quality code and fast turnaround times
What You Bring:
An insatiable appetite for learning new approaches, technologies, and architectures and the maturity to apply these judiciously
A BS degree or higher in CS, EE or related discipline
5+
years experience
in software engineering
Experience in
functional/asynchronous
programming and/or object-oriented programming in Erlang or Elixir required; additional experience in Java, .NET, Golang is a plus
Experience in cloud platforms; AWS preferred
Experience in designing and building REST APIs
Experience in developing Microservices
Knowledge of relational databases and NoSQL databases.
Experience architecting large-scale distributed platforms for scale, security, and reliability
Experience building highly scalable, resilient HA systems
