Job Description Job Description iCallidus is seeking a skilled Proposal Coordinator with expertise in government contracts and strong copyediting abilities to join our team.

This role demands an individual who can navigate the complexities of government RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information), creating clear, compliant, and compelling proposals.

Responsibilities:

Government Proposal Development:
Manage the full lifecycle of proposal development for government contracts, from pre-solicitation to submission. Understand and interpret federal, state, and local government solicitation requirements.

Copyediting and Quality Control:
Ensure all proposals are free from errors, and meet strict government standards for clarity, accuracy, and compliance. Adapt content to meet specific criteria outlined in government solicitations.

Collaboration and Strategy:
Work closely with subject matter experts and project managers to gather technical and programmatic details. Strategize proposal responses to align with government evaluation criteria.

Compliance and Submission:
Oversee the assembly and review of proposal documents to ensure compliance with government solicitation requirements. Manage submission deadlines and ensure documents are formatted according to government specifications.

Continuous Improvement:
Lead debrief sessions after proposal submissions to identify areas for improvement. Update proposal templates and processes based on feedback and changes in government contracting trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Political Science, or a related field.3+ years of experience in proposal coordination, specifically with government contracts.

Deep knowledge of the government procurement process and familiarity with compliance issues related to federal, state, or local RFPs.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to articulate technical solutions in a clear and persuasive manner.
Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and familiar with government proposal submission portals.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Proposal Management Professional (APMP certification).Experience in cybersecurity, IT services, or a related technical field, particularly within the public sector.
