The
Senior Buyer will research, evaluate, and source products to be sold.
They will analyze competitors, market trends, sales, and profits and apply these insights when making decisions in sync with the current profile and future needs of the company.
They will update management about requisitions on a regular basis and make sure the quality of received stock meets company expectations.
Most of their efforts will go into deciding which lines of products are worth keeping up and which ones should be discontinued.
The Senior Buyer will contribute to design concepts and website production, review samples, and come up with prices that allow for adequate profits, compared to acquisition costs.
This position will include a great deal of data research and analysis, presentation of proposals, and will be focused on vendor relationships and negotiations.
The Senior Buyer will need to be confident in pricing negotiations and working directly with manufacturers, both on a domestic and international scale.

Bachelors Degree Required
Minimum 4-5 years relevant purchasing or buying experience is required

Compensation
Salary:
$85,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience
