- Examines property and casualty consumer inquiries of non-compliance made against insurance companies, agents, and other entities licensed by the Office of Commissioner of Insurance and Safety Fire.
- Performs a review, researches regulatory requirements, collects, and verifies documentation.
- Gathers and organizes investigative materials and information and analyzes the material to draw conclusions and provide recommendations for the resolution of complaints and issues.
- Communicates effectively with consumers and industry professionals to resolve complaints.
- Reports rules, regulations, or law violations to appropriate boards or agencies.
- Analyzes issues and develops and reports recommendations for resolution.
- Review inquiries daily and request additional documentation from the complainant as needed.
- Conducts follow-up processing (i.e. referral to Enforcement and Fraud Unit).
