- Develop a solid understanding of current and potential client/client's industry including specific information regarding the value proposition (competitive landscape, strengths, and weaknesses), stock performance, employee count, etc. Synthesize information accurately, so that it is easily incorporated into a readable, client-ready document.
- Develop expertise in qualitative assessment by maintaining an awareness of industry trends and best in class leaders (C-level, board, and executive).
- Use qualitative information to clearly communicate and present data/details to influence decisions.
- Maintain current awareness of news and issues associated with key client engagements and market opportunities and share that information and knowledge in a timely way.
- Assist in high level talent mapping.
- Provide support in creation of high-quality error-free client documentation (e.g., position specifications, progress reports, company mappings, etc.)
- Organize internal and external knowledge around best practices, trends, and US corporate Governance.
- Assist in the creation of research and analysis for new business development initiatives/pitches. Develops sophisticated and insightful PowerPoint presentations, in partnership with consultants and client development teams.
- Partners with consultants to develop pitch presentations and business development materials.
- Tracks various Board and CEO Practice data points such as business development opportunities, actively booked assignments, and placement data. Synthesizes information accurately into a readable, client-ready documents.

Description
The Business Analyst is an integral part of L. Maxwell Global. Working closely with the internal team, Consultants and the external client base, the Analyst will operate as a thought partner and will be responsible for providing high quality, thorough research in response to new business requests and search assignments.
This candidate will be responsible for supporting pitch and search strategies by producing industry and/or functional analysis reports and talent pool mappings for active searches, internal meetings, and new business initiatives. This includes competitive information, target company list development and potential prospect identification. Over time, it is expected that the Analyst will develop expertise in a streamlined search process, market trends and optimal business development practices.
