Location/Division Specific Information
This position will support our Clinical Diagnostics Division (CDD) facility in Middletown, VA.

It is a crucial role as our site is entering an exciting period of growth and requires a significant uptake in staffing levels.

To ensure that existing Middletown staff and new recruits have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in their roles, we require a Sr.

Ops Training Specialist to support training compliance and skill development activities for the site.


A Day in the Life:


  • Maintain employee job code training catalog based on monthly/quarterly reviews with site leadership and site trainers.
  • Support and lead change order training activities to enable training compliance, change management, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Lead and monitor training admin. activities in quality management, learning management, and scheduling systems.
  • Participate in audit support for site compliance activities.
  • Coordinate, track, and support new hire orientation, operator training, EHS equipment certifications, formulation, lab, and site quality training programs
  • Collaborate with training leads in the identification of skills needed to develop further and improve operator skills matrices.
  • Support qualified trainer program activities with training staff.
  • Run training calendar, website, trainer recognition, and training communication tasks for internal and external training events.
  • Key to Success:


  • Education

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years training systems experience preferred, or Associate's with 4 years training systems experience accepted.
  • Current student with Degree in Progress with 5 + years of training systems experience is also welcomed.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing, preferably in a cGMP/CFR environment required.
