    Description

    Innovate to address the most crucial challenges worldwide. As a CMM Inspector Level IV at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and precision of our products using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).

    You will be responsible for conducting intricate inspections, analyzing measurement data, and providing comprehensive reports to support our manufacturing processes.

    Your expertise in CMM programming, operation, and interpretation of measurement results will be crucial in upholding the highest quality and precision standards.

    You will directly report to our Quality Manager and be based at our Phoenix, Arizona location at Sky Harbor.

    In this position, you will have a significant impact on the quality and dependability of our products, ensuring they meet or surpass customer expectations.

    You will work closely with diverse teams to pinpoint and resolve quality issues, implement process enhancements, and lead continuous improvement efforts.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform intricate inspections with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to guarantee the quality and precision of our products.
    • Develop and execute CMM programs for inspection and measurement.
    • Analyze measurement data and interpret results to detect quality issues and trends.
    • Create detailed inspection reports and documentation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and rectify quality issues.
    • Engage in process improvement initiatives to elevate product quality and efficiency.
    U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
    Due to adherence to U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. Person, namely, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. through asylum or refugee status. YOU MUST HAVE


    • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a CMM Inspector.
    • Solid knowledge and experience in CMM programming, operation, and interpretation of measurement results.
    • Proficiency in utilizing CMM software and equipment.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • Keen attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality work.

    All applicants for roles in safety-sensitive positions as per DOT/FAA guidelines will need to undergo a pre-employment drug test, including screening for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines, Phencyclidine, and Opioids.

    DOT/FAA regulations mandate all employees in safety-sensitive positions, whether regular or temporary, to be part of the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.


    WE VALUE

    • Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
    • ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification.
    • Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
    • Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • FAA Repair and Overhaul (R&O) experience.
    • A&P License.
