    Position Overview:

    As a Quality Control Inspector at Honeywell Aerospace, you will collaborate closely with our manufacturing teams and leadership to uphold quality standards across all production processes. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Conducting visual and dimensional inspections on aircraft components and subassemblies following repair manuals and technical specifications
    • Utilizing expertise in repair methods to assess non-serviceable parts and restore them to optimal condition
    • Monitoring discrepancy data, working with Repair Process Engineering to enhance inspection methods, drive process enhancements, and minimize defects
    • Applying knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
    • Interpreting blueprints, technical documents, and FAA maintenance manuals
    • Leveraging inspection techniques and equipment such as Micrometers, Verniers, Height Gages, and more
    • Experience with optical comparator or curvic inspection and tooling is a plus
    Requirements for U.S. Persons:

    To comply with U.S. export regulations, candidates must be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals with protected status (asylum or refugee).

    Qualifications:

    To be successful in this role, you must have:

    • At least 3 years of experience as an aerospace inspector
    • Proficiency in office suite applications and a willingness to learn internal software interfaces
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime
    • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
    All candidates applying for safety-sensitive positions will undergo a pre-employment drug screening as per DOT/FAA regulations.
