    • Qualifications

    Required Experience:
    In order to be qualified for this position, the HR Office must confirm that you meet the general and specialized experience requirement.

    To qualify at the GS-03 level, you need six months of general experience showcasing your ability to handle increasingly complex tasks and learn the specific work of this job.

    To qualify at the GS-04 level, you need six months of general experience and 6 months of specialized experience related to biological science tasks, supporting senior staff, collecting field data, etc.

    To qualify at the GS-05 level, you need one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-04 level, focusing on biological science tasks common to fish and wildlife resource management.

    Applicants may qualify based on education as well.

    Education

    This announcement allows substituting education for experience at the GS-03/04/05 grade levels. You must submit college transcript(s) to support claimed education. Non-submission may result in being rated not qualified.

    Official college transcripts will be required if selected. Academic transcripts certified by notary publics are NOT official.

    Accreditation: Only education from an accredited college or university recognized by the Department of Education is acceptable.

    Foreign Education: For education completed outside the U.S., proof of equivalence to conventional U.S. education programs is required.
