    They work with architects, builders, interior designers and homeowners to craft lifestyle technologies into intelligent spaces for custom homes and businesses that combine beauty, entertainment, comfort, wellness and security.

    The Role


    The System Administrator serves as the system configuration owner and data quality monitor for the company's business operations management tool – currently iPoint & Quickbooks but moving to Netsuite.

    The System Admin ensures that new configuration items adhere to established business process and data standards while meeting key business needs.

    The System Administrator helps ensure compatibility of business data integrations with other business systems including QuickBooks Enterprise, Tableau, etc. This position serves as the company's subject matter expert for these tools.

    This position ensures standardization of all database items across all locations, maintains item, and is the gatekeeper for the creation of new items.

    Responsibilities

    Provide project management oversight & support as needed
    Design and maintain complex workflow documentation
    Escalate key business issues found in systems to management
    Maintain key relationship with software vendor and support resources
    Ensure system use and configuration is optimized to achieve maximum benefits of system capabilities to best suit business needs. Request, evaluate and monitor new features specific to the company's environment
    Document system changes & configuration for new functionality and communicate to stakeholders
    Monitor changes after deployment to ensure accurate and consistent use
    Communicate policy and process changes as they relate to system use to all stakeholders
    Configure new users and manage user permissions
    Maintain data "pop up" instructions that drive end user selections
    Monitor and correct data inconsistencies
    Advise users on use that is inconsistent with established process and recommend corrective action
    Manage configuration and monitor all new product features/releases to assess prior to implementation, creating appropriate process adjustments
    Ensure consistent reporting and data sharing across multiple systems
    Deploy new iPoint installations & train users
    Drive standardization for daily iPoint tasks and usage
    Documentation of standards and process
    Attend department meetings as required.
    Maintain integrity of databases
    Occasional travel as appropriate
    Provide training or communication to disseminate pertinent information as required
    Fiscal responsibility for all assets & property assigned
    Guardianship and preservation of client confidentiality and network/home security
    Adherence to state and federal laws, including adherence to traffic laws

    Qualifications

    Basic QuickBooks, Excel, and NetSuite knowledge
    Purchasing & inventory systems and processes
    Communicate effectively in a high intensity and rapidly changing environment
    Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and clear criminal record required
    Advanced technical expertise of business data systems is critical.
    Database management skills are required.
    Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and organizational awareness.

    The ability to manage time wisely while unsupervised is required as is the ability to establish and train on process.
