The position will be based at our Chicago Used Truck Center located in Joliet, IL.Navistar's Used Truck Organization (UTO) is a vital business unit which operates 13 Used Truck Centers (UTC's) throughout North America.
The Used Truck Organization manages considerable assets gained primarily though new truck trade packages with major U.S. fleet companies. Our UTC's engage in significant retail, wholesale and export transactions. The majority of inventory consists of our International brand class 8 trucks, with a wide assortment of competing brands.ResponsibilitiesUnder supervision and mentorship of the General Manager the individual will:
Receive sales and systems training from the General Manager, UTC Staff and Corporate training resourcesLearn industry specific sales tacticsLearn about our various productsAssist General Manager in maintaining on-line and print advertisingIdentify sales opportunities and document activities in our CRMPursue warm leads and make prospecting cold callsMeet customers in face to face selling situationsLearn truck appraisals, inspections and incoming inventory check-insStay abreast of current inventory and participate in its managementDevelop quotes and invoices Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degreeORAt least 2 years outside or inside sales experience Additional RequirementsQualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
