    In Azure Data, the business intelligence team focuses on building and maintaining Power BI, the industry's top BI tool. If you're a Software Engineer, we need your help to enhance semantic modeling capabilities in Power BI and Fabric. Join a diverse team with a customer-focused vision dedicated to empowering users with rich modeling experiences.

    Qualifications

    Required/Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related technical discipline AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
    • 2+ years of software engineering and product development shipping end-user software services or products.

    Other Requirements:

    Must meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements for the role.

    • This position will require a Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years.

    Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR related field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience, or Master's Degree with 2+ years experience in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent. Experience with Power BI or other BI/analytic tools preferred.

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver stellar user experiences and cloud services, collaborating with architects, UX designers, and product managers.
    • Design, code, test, and develop features with quality and maintainability.
    • Build reusable components for quicker delivery at a higher quality level.
    • Maintain customer focus and collaborate effectively within and across teams at Microsoft.
