Overview

Recognized as one of the nation's top Construction Managers by Engineering News-Record, our client specializes in integrated construction, design, and technology solutions catering to a wide range of public and private sector clients.

Due to their continuous growth, they are currently seeking a Survey Technician for their Mineola, Long Island office, responsible for projects across the metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

Prepare mapping using computer design and drafting survey software.
Generate topographic, boundary, utility, asbuilt, ROW, and ALTA mapping.
Conduct survey calculations, data upload, download, and processing.
Analyze and plot boundary maps and descriptions.
Perform record research for boundary and utility information.
Collaborate with design teams to meet demanding schedules.

Qualifications

Preferred:

35 years' experience as a Survey Office Technician.
Associate degree or ability to attain one.
Proficiency in computer design and drafting survey software such as ALTA/NSPS Land Title and Auto-CAD Civil 3D.
Experience in survey computations for land and construction surveys, skilled in Trimble, Carlson Field to Finish.
Experience with surveying and mapping for municipal, residential, and commercial projects, including topographic, boundary, utility, asbuilt, ROW, and ALTA, with understanding of boundary, deeds, maps, and easements.
Ability to examine and interpret civil, architectural, and structural drawings.
Strong communication skills.

Additional Information
They offer competitive salaries commensurate with experience, comprehensive benefits, and a positive work environment.

Compensation: Minimum $65,000
Maximum $79,000.
