Job Description

Corporate Senior Accountant (shirt sleeve) [5 to 10 yrs experience] CPA / or candidate helpful - responsible to CFO. Multitask Accounting Department for expanding Gourmet Food Distribution Company with retail and other affiliate companies. EXPERIENCE SAP1 - PREFERRED and Quick Books / multicompany, a MUST: Duties include:

Daily – Collaborate / oversee assigned daily accounting department functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit card management, intercompany activity,
A/r payments, reconciliations, intercompany transactions and general ledger,
Senior level knowledge with corporate QuickBooks for multicompany applications to post daily and monthly activity,
Ability to complete assigned task timely,
Weekly / Ad hoc - supervise a/p and a/r department and follow-up reporting to CFO as to payment activity, provide support for purchasing and receiving department, affiliate operations, as needed,
Post accounting data to SAP Business One and QuickBooks, reconcile to intercompany accounts, make journal entries as required to general ledger and close monthly, quarterly, annual accounting activity,
Supervise daily postings to accounts receivable and online deposits to bank,
Collaborate with CFO with accounting requirements and procedures, and special projects, re processing all new vendor credit applications, and current account review and eval ation,
Interact with other accounting department staff to provide appropriate information and documentation re accounting activities, as needed,
Other projects associated with management of affiliated companies, billing and budgets, as assigned to this new position to support the expanded requirements of CFO and executive management team..

ACCOUNTING SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in accounting, Organization, Accounting, Data Entry Skills, General Math Skills, QUICK BOOKS, multi company A MUST, Financial Software (SAP1 accounting software a Plus), Analyzing Information, Attention to detail, thoroughness, reporting research results, verbal and written communications skills.

Compensation commensurate with experience; Company benefits included Health, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance; vacation, sickness, paid holidays, 401k Plan.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72, $92,000.00 per year
