Responsibilities

Manage AP – input invoices, pay vendors, prepare vendor reconciliations, and ensure AP Aging is 'clean' and ties to the GL.

Manage AR – ensure all billing is completed and AR Aging is 'clean' and ties to the GL.
Record monthly journal entries (including but not limited to cash disbursements and deposits).
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations (e.g., bank reconciliations, fixed assets roll-forward, intercompany reconciliation, etc.)
Prepare monthly sales reconciliation.
Perform monthly trend analysis/analytics on expenses.
Assist with the preparation of the monthly accounting and financial reporting deck.
Assist with the annual financial statement audit.
Assist with tax filings and other external compliance.
Assist with ad hoc requests.
Qualities
Self-starter and can work with minimal supervision.
Proactive.
Respects deadlines.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Detail oriented
Education and Experience
Undergraduate Degree in Accounting
4+ years' experience in Corporate Accounting/Finance
Auditing experience preferred.
QuickBooks experience is a plus
Excel proficient (V-lookups, Pivot tables, etc.)
