    Freese and Nichols has great entry-level Engineer I opportunities for December 23 and May/August 24 new grads to launch their professional careers


    We are currently searching for Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineers in our offices located in Dallas, Fort Worth, Denton, Houston, and Pearland, TX.


    The Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineer will assist with analysis, design, construction administration, and preparation of technical reports, plans, and specifications for various water treatment, wastewater treatment, reuse, and resource recovery facility projects.

    Responsibilities

    Assist the Project Engineer in estimating engineering project costs. Maintain an awareness of project budgets and endeavor to complete assignments within budget.

    Assist the Project Engineer in the development and execution of assigned projects and assume various tasks necessary to project completion.

    Become acquainted with the procedures and techniques necessary to execute a sound and efficient project. On assigned projects, provide guidance and assistance to drafting personnel and help expand their capabilities in project performance.
    Provide quality work within the scope of work, guidelines, hours, and schedules defined by the Project Manager.

    Freese and Nichols offers a flexible work environment which includes options such as a hybrid work schedule with remote work up to 2 days per week and an alternative work schedule with every other Friday off.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering (concentration in Environmental) or in Environmental Engineering (Current grad or those graduating in December 2023, May 2024, or August 2024)
    Preferred Qualifications

    Previous internship in Water/Wastewater Treatment
    Participation in a student organization such as a professional or technical society
