Job DescriptionDescription:

The HR Generalist is responsible for assisting the HR Director and other personnel within the human resources team.

Conduct employee onboarding and work with the training department to organize training & development initiatives
Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
Undertake tasks around performance management
Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates, ect.
Organize employee performance reviews and evaluations
Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
Ensure compliance with labor regulations
Participating in developing organizational guidelines and procedures
Recommending strategies to motivate employees
Listening to employee complaints and seeking solutions
Updating records to accommodate new hires and current employees
Coordinating with other HR professionals
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Knowledge of administrative tasks and responsibilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools and payroll and human resources software
Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking
Leadership and coaching skills
Strong empathy and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Attention to detail and analytically driven
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. Paylocity) will be a plus
