Must be able to withstand the stress and demands of an active position while responding calmly and efficiently in crisis situations. Recognize normal and abnormal values. must be able to pass a color vision test. Must be able to use critical thinking skills when reviewing data. Must be able to work as a team member, demonstrating good interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate professionally with physicians, management, and staff. May be required to perform critical tasks in special pathogens lab. May be required to train new staff members or students.
