    We are seeking an Experience Project Manager in Mechanical Engineering to join our dynamic team. We specialize in heavy civil construction and underground mine development. We are known for our expertise in the engineering and construction of deep shafts and tunnels of all sizes and complexity. Our Lake Shore division provides design/build/install services for innovative Hoisting and Vertical Conveyance Systems. Our goal is to be the industrys best source, and best value, for complete turn-key construction, engineering and design-build services and related products.

    Across North America, notable projects include The Purple Line Extensions section 3 in Los Angeles, Water Tunnel number 3 in New York City, Eagle Mountain Gas Pipeline and Kemano T2 tunneling projects in British Columbia, Canada, the Inter-Quarry Tunnel in Leesburg, VA and the Century Mine in Volga, WV.

    Description:

    As aProject Manageryou will be reporting to theVP of Operations,you will have the opportunity to:

    • Manage all aspects of mechanical projects from design through construction and commissioning.
    • Work closely with clients to execute large mechanical installations at industrial sites nationwide.
    • Assist with the preparation of bid proposals
    • Review bid documents and perform quantity take-offs
    • Work closely with clients to solve project challenges and identify value engineering opportunities
    • Integrate new technology and product innovations.
    • Assist with preparation of post-bid work plans, procurement, scheduling, and cost control
    • Actively participate in project tracking and post-job analysis

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management or similar
    • 5 or more years experience in heavy civil, mining, construction, or equipment OEM.
    • Previous experience with project management, mechanical design engineering, estimating, and/or project scheduling
    • Attention to detail with an emphasis on time management and organizational skills
    • Ability and willingness to occasionally visit sites
