Description
DescriptionMemorial Mortuaries and Cemeteries is a Utah funeral home with several locations. We are currently seeking a qualified, friendly individual to help us answer phone calls after business hours.
Our Phone Specialist will be responsible for answering all inbound phone calls from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM each night.
On average, our funeral homes receives between 20-40 phone calls during those hours each day, which represents about 1-2 hours of "phone time".
In this role you will provide quality service to individuals calling the funeral home, answering basic questions, taking messages for our funeral directors, providing pricing information, and coordinating the transfer of deceased into our care with our on call removal staff when deaths occur after-hours.
You will be expected to provide excellent customer service, be compassionate and empathetic, and display professionalism at all times.Our phone specialists are paid a flat $55 per shift plus commissions. Or, alternatively, $2,000 a month plus commissions if you take the phones every night.
This is a fully remote position and all the necessary equipment will be provided Training will need to be done in person during normal business hours and there will be several in person meetings you will need to attend each year.
While this position is fully remote, we are looking for candidates that reside in Utah, preferably within Salt Lake, Utah, or Davis CountiesRequirements
