    Description

    Summary of Work :

    This position supports development of branch data analytics and greater sharing of public data for transparency and greater efficiency in sharing data.

    The IT Data Governance SME will work with a cross-functional team (including JCIT, data stewards, subject matter experts and Court leaders) to create, test, and implement design standards for the Judicial Branch's public-facing data dashboards.



    Minimum Job-Specific Skills/Qualifications Required (in order of relative importance):


    • Ability to conduct user research sessions, gather feedback from subject matter experts.
    • Technical project management and documentation skills.
    • Ability to analyze issues from system documentation and recommend solutions.
    • Experience creating policy or governance documents.
    • Excellent oral, written, analytical and communication skills with the ability to lead a technical discussion with both technical and non-technical staff.
    • Excellent analytical, verbal and conflict resolution skills.
    • Create templates to support key use cases for public dashboards using Power BI.
    • Understanding of data automation and data pipelines.

    Additional Skills/Qualifications Desired:


    • Experience in government (State) setting.
    • Excellent presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, including creating and presenting executive summaries to management and technical committees.
