Your tasks in the Audit Office:

  • Inspection of planning, tendering, awarding, execution and settlement of construction projects (investment and maintenance) of the district and its public enterprises
  • Examination of the economic efficiency and appropriateness of construction projects
  • Examination of tenders in the areas of GWB, VgV, VOB, VOL and others
  • Examination of architects and engineering services according to HOAI, including contracts and settlements
  • Examination of proof of use for subsidies
  • Participation in the audit of the annual financial statements of the district, its public enterprises and joint associations in which the district is a member, with regard to the valuation of technical assets (real estate, infrastructure)
  • Preparation of audit reports and recommendations for action

Your qualifications:


  • A degree in technical engineering or architecture with a Bachelor's degree or a comparable diploma (specializing in civil engineering or architecture)
  • Relevant, at least 3 years of professional experience in civil and/or structural engineering, as well as a willingness for specialized training and further education
