    PrideStaff Hattiesburg is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk on behalf of our client in the Hattiesburg, MS area. Are you working, but looking to explore? Are you needing a new career opportunity? Give us a call at and/or apply directly to this posting for immediate consideration

    Job Duties and Responsibilities to include:

    • Process Accounts Payable
    • Initiate check run process
    • Match invoices to purchase orders
    • Process and monitor payments
    • Prepare and monitor the AR system
    • Perform reconciliations and provide resolution on accounts with disputed balances
    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
    • At least 2 years of experience in accounting role
    • Self-motivated and detailed oriented
    • Strong interpersonal skills; strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience with QuickBooks accounting software preferred
    • Strong organizational and planning skills
