- Two years experience required
- Certified from a nationally recognized clinical laboratory regulatory agency (ASCP, AMT, or NCA) or prove eligibility to sit for an MT/CLS certification exam. Job Summary and Qualifications
The Hematology Lab Section Leader is primary responsibility for the accurate and timely performance of laboratory tests as assigned. The Lab Section Leader is responsible for their area of Lab - in this case Hematology. They are also responsible for the overall operations of the laboratory. This includes providing and supervising high quality lab tests, quality control, preventive maintenance of equipment, computer activities, and collection of specimens.
