The Role:

Our site in Franklin, Massachusetts is looking for a Laboratory Technician to join their team

The Laboratory Technician will work with a supervisor supporting the Research & Development (R&D) department work to explore and develop new platforms of breakthrough products according to customers' needs and internal Technology Roadmap.

What You'll Do:

Set up, mix and deliver test chemicals to the test fixture.
Build and maintain test setups and carry out adsorbent evaluations using Gas Chromatography (GC), Ion Chromatography (IC), Total Organic Carbon (TOC) and various other analytical instruments.
Document standard operating procedures for conducting required tests. Identify actual or potential issues in processes, product performance troubleshooting, etc.
Learn and develop skills in data interpretation and analysis test data along with documentation. Supports and conducts field investigation/testing.
Maintains test schedule and data/test report archive on the network.
Success for the role is not defined solely on the outcome of a project but rather a combination of the results and how these results were achieved.

What We Seek:

Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related discipline
2+ years of experience in a laboratory setting
Ability to pay strong attention to detail
Experience working in an R&D environment
Strong ability to work independently
Ability to adapt easily to the "Entegris" way
Able to lift 50 lbs. at a time and occasionally 7080 lbs. for a few minutes at a time.
Able to reach up to 77.5 feet.
