    Description

    ConnectUs ) is looking for an experienced Senior Manager Purchasing & Wholesale. The Senior Manager Purchasing & Wholesale will be responsible for managing all purchasing, procurement & wholesale for mobile devices (e.g - phones, tablets, laptops, 4G/5G routers, related accessories & peripherals) for ConnectUs. This will require nurturing existing relationships in both the brand new and the secondary market as well as finding and establishing relationships with new vendors. This person will be responsible for continuously refining, streamlining and improving all related processes to purchasing & wholesale.

    The Senior Manager Purchasing & Wholesale will serve as a liaison between Sales, Back Office and operations teams and also engage directly with wholesale customers. The ideal candidate is highly analytical and has the capacity to maintain and quickly recall large amounts of product information. This is a complex and fast moving role at a small company where responsiveness is required. The RIGHT person will be pivotal to the success of ConnectUs.

    A typical day in this role at ConnectUs will consist of:

    • Sourcing essential services / products for the business's operations and sales team.
    • Evaluating and establishing new vendors for mobile devices, accessories, peripherals and other related products
    • Developing centralized and standardized inventory controls and implementing central processes to identify demand for new services / products.
    • Managing & monitoring supplier quantity at competitive prices
    • Creating purchase orders
    • Negotiate pricing with vendors
    • Managing & executing wholesale sales function (buying from vendor A at $x and selling to vendor C for $z)
    • Ensure delivery of shipments to meet tight deadlines
    • Maintain a daily open Purchase Order/Sales Order (PO/SO) dashboard with inbound Purchase Order information.
    • Ensure transparency, accuracy, and consistency of data in the purchasing information systems
    • Serve as liaison between vendors, sales and operations teams to ensure on-time shipments both inbound and outbound.
    • Daily engagement with teams; which include monitoring and managing inventory levels, reporting to management as well as participation in projects and process improvement activities.
    • Identify inventory discrepancies and PO variances to assure accurate system inventory at all times.
    • Conduct ongoing cadence calls with vendors to maintain and elevate relationships
    Total Expected Compensation
    • Base salary $90k - $120k / year
    • Total compensation $130k - $220k / year
    Bonus & Commission Pay Considerations

    • Create & streamline obtaining more corporate trade-ins/buybacks

    Requirements
    • MIN 4 year Bachelors Degree from accredited university (preferably in - supply chain, management & information systems or business management)
    • MUST HAVE - 6+ years in a Procurement, Purchasing or Supply Chain Management / Leadership Role
    • Proven track record in vendor negotiations and cost reduction strategies
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills up to the executive level
    • Ability to be in the King of Prussia office Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:30PM
    Salary Description

    $90,000-$120,000 + Commission & Bonus
