We are looking for a central purchaser and contact person (m/f/d) for the fresh produce department (main assortment: fruits and vegetables).

Do you have a strong awareness of food handling and want to join us in this responsible role?


Responsibilities:

  • Planning, ordering, and managing the entire purchasing process
  • Assortment planning, taking into account seasonal products and promotions
  • Negotiating daily and weekly prices and delivery conditions
  • Ensuring product availability
  • Regularly checking the quality of delivered products in collaboration with the warehouse
  • Handling and processing complaints
  • Monitoring delivery dates and sending reminders

Profile:

  • Completed commercial education
  • Ideally, some experience in purchasing
  • Experience in the fresh produce department (fruits and vegetables) is desirable
  • Good to excellent MS Office skills, particularly with ERP software
  • Commitment, attention to detail, and interest in the product range
