Eagle Railcar Services, the nation's largest railcar repair network, is seeking a select group of eager, motivated individuals to join our growing organization. Eagle is implementing a new management trainee program that will serve as a feeder for various management level positions within the company. This 10 to 12-month program will provide intense hands-on training in every department at the shop level._

Purpose:_
-
Management Trainee Skills_
- Receive handson training in railcar repair & maintenance operations, including blast, paint, cleaning, valve rebuilds, mechanical repair, AAR training, NDT training, inspections, estimating, billing, etc.
- Learn various staff functions, including operations, management viewpoints, and company policies and practices affecting each phase of business.
- Meet performance goals and objectives set by upper management and determined upon accepting the position.
- Report on the progress of goals and objectives.
- Monitor performance progress with management and key trainers.
- Observe experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for successful performance of departmental duties.
- Train in functions and operations of related departments to facilitate subsequent transferability between departments and provide greater promotional opportunities.
Management Trainee Requirements_
- Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Willing to engage in handson training and hard work.
- Motivated toward career growth and learning.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Leadership skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of staff throughout the company.
Pay:
$50, $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
